Correction
Last night on the show, I mentioned that Fred Eaglesmith came from a Danish family. I meant to say Dutch family. The Dutch province in Ontario is called Friesland. The word "fries" plus "land", but I don't know if fries are a big deal there or not. Anyway, sorry for the mistake! Hope this patches things up for you F Eaglesmith diehards.

"Fries" is pronounced "Frees" and has nothing to do with fried potatoes (although they eat a lot of boiled potatoes).
And Fred die-hards are known as Fred-heads :)
